Music For MRI Scanners

This music was composed by Tom Green(aka Another Fine Day) in 2001, for ambient playback in the ancillary areas of a new MRI Scanner in The Royal Infirmary, Bristol.

The three twenty minute pieces are designed to induce feelings of calm and security, and are perfect for anyone looking for an ambient accompaniment to yoga, meditation, massage, and similar practices, or simply relaxation.

Complex melodies and rhythms, likely to draw the attention, are absent, replaced by slowly evolving textures and processed fragments of sound from piano, kalimba, and the natural world, gently enhancing the audio environment.
